Lake Lanier

Lake Sidney Lanier is known Nationwide as one of the premier Striper Fishing Lakes.  The lake spans over 38,000 acres and holds a good population of Stripers, largemouth, and spotted bass.  By far, the largest of these types are the striper.  The current lake record for stripped bass was caught in 1987.  It weighed a whopping 46 lb 0 oz's.  While the lake does have a large assortment of joy-boaters on summer weekends and holiday's, weekdays and the winter month's are nothing but you and the fish.

Carter's Lake

Carter's lake is nestled in the North Georgia mountains, approximately one hour north of Atlanta.  It is over 3000 acres in size and is owned by the Corp. of Engineers.  You will be amazed by the beauty of this lake.  Much of the beauty can be attributed to the fact that there are no homes, or boat docks on the water.  This lake is absolutely pristine!  You might see deer, turkey, or even bear coming down to drink at the water's edge.  And to top it all off, it's full of fat bellied Striper!!!  The current Lake record is 31 lbs 15 oz's, and was caught by Buddy Callahan on April 4th, 2003.
